Andrew Tucciarone is an independent producer, director of photography, camera operator and video DSLR expert based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Formally educated in mechanical engineering and international affairs at Georgia Tech, Andrew has joined his love of innovation and problem-solving to his love of filmmaking and visual storytelling.
Andrew began his career by accident while working in the recording industry and taking photographs on the side. He discovered a passion for storytelling and its power when combined with a superior image.
While in the field in Africa shooting a documentary, Andrew was introduced to the Canon 5DmkII by his still photographer co-worker and upon arriving home, transitioned his entire company workflow to Video DSLR's. Since then, he has been a leading proponent of the value of v-DSLR's and an expert on their technical application to different types of film-making.
Andrew's varied work has ranged from music video projects with recording artists such as lil' Wayne and Ludacris, to international NGO documentary/promotional films, to commercial and narrative projects.
