Course Brief :
Tired of your photos looking flat, lifeless, or “just okay”? You’re not alone—and you’re not stuck there. Whether you're using a phone or a DSLR, the difference between a snapshot and a photograph comes down to intention, technique, and vision. In Beyond the Click, you'll go beyond just pointing and shooting. This online, interactive course led by professional photographer, David Bathgate, guides you step-by-step through the mindset, skills, and creative process that separates everyday pictures from compelling photographs that capture attention and emotion. Through engaging lessons, interactive assignments, and personalized feedback, you’ll transform the way you see the world—and how you capture it.
By the end of this course, you’ll be able to:
See like a photographer—before you even lift your camera.
Use composition, light, and storytelling with purpose.
Take full control of your camera (yes, even in manual mode!).
Create photographs that feel intentional, artistic, and uniquely you.
No more lucky shots. Just better photography—by design.
