David Hoptman

David Hoptman has been a commercial and fine art photographer for nearly thirty years. Now living and teaching Photographic workshops in Southern Tuscany since 2005 from his home and studio. He is originally from Detroit Michigan where he attended Oakland University and Center for Creative Studies School of Art and Design. Most of his adult life was spent in Santa Fe NM where he pursued his commercial photographic career and was involved in making and teaching fine art photography as well as mixed media arts and sculpture. He has been published in many major publications including Architectural Digest, Sotheby's International, Travel and Leisure, Hollywood Reporter, Art in America, to name just a few.

He has had numerous gallery showings of his fine art works including Photography, Ceramics, Bronze Sculptures, Printmaking/ mixed media in many parts of the US as well as Europe, Australia, Estonia etc. His work has been collected by the Polaroid Museum, Museo Arte Moderna I Sole Collection, Montgomery Museum and many others.
