This course is a journey into the ABSTRACT that will help focus participants visual awareness in regards to surfaces, textures, colors, reflections and the way in which the play of light and shadows affect the overall form, feeling and composition of any given photograph. The idea of abstraction is to reveal the soul, so to speak, of a person, object, landscape, etc. using a graphic representation which still maintains some of the original attributes but cuts away much of the superficial, revealing the essence.
