Toolbox Needs

Digital or film-based camera (Note: Scanner access required if shooting film).
Ability to control aperture and shutter.
Prime (fixed focal-length) or zoom lens ranging to 70mm.
In-camera or detachable flash.

Week 1: Taking Control
What are your priorities? Deviating from “proper” exposure. Exploring the extremes.

Week 2: Bending and Breaking Rules
In the "absence" of composition. Creating “edge” and tension. Breaking the frame.

Week 3: Letting the Ghost Run Free
Learning the process. “Hollywood nights”. Experimentation and results.

Week 4: The World According to YOU!
“ID-ing” that feeling or idea. Setting course. Unveiling your vision.
