There are so many ways to capture fashion, it can be sexy, whimsical, or elegant- the possibilities are unlimited.  The iconic images that grace the pages of publications like Vogue, Elle, and W Magazine are not only part of selling a $300 billion global industry, but have also come to be uniquely artistic expressions that define a social-cultural moment in time.  

This 4-week course will cover the fundamentals of fashion photography and walk you through on how to put together a professional quality shoot.

What you will need:

• SLR or Film Camera (if shooting film, you will need access to a scanner in order to digitize your work so you can upload to the TCI website)
• Lenses-Ideally a wide-angle, 18-55mm, 50mm and 85mm.  However, if you only have a standard lens (e.g., 18-55mm) that will be fine for this introductory course.
• Computer with photo processing software (e.g., Photoshop)
